Overview

Prof. Dr. Robert Manurung has primary interests in valorisation of renewable resources of Papua such as Reutealis trisperma, Pandanus conoideus, Pandanus julianetti for biofuels and likewise valorisation of microalgae, cassava, rice, and Jatropha curcas for alternative and sustainable sources of fuels. Over the years, Prof. Robert has published studies on the potentials of plant commodities for biofuels as well as providing expert aids and advices in various bioproduct companies in Indonesia. Several innovations and inventions related to bioproducts and utilisation of biological fuels has also been patented under his name throughout his career.
