About the event

The 2023 International Symposium in Biotechnology (ISBIO) is an international symposium co-organized by the School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH) at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in Indonesia and the Department of Biotechnology at Osaka University (OU) in Japan. The Symposium will take place at Institut Teknologi Bandung, Jl. Ganesha 10, Bandung, Indonesia, on August 27-29, 2023. 

The symposium is designed to bring together researchers, academics, key industry players, and delegates from a variety of disciplines to discuss recent developments and concerns related to our theme of “Biotechnology Application for Nutraceutical, Environment, and Energy”. The programs, which will include keynote speeches, panel, poster presentations, and industrial exhibits, are intended to foster connection, collaboration, and the generation of fresh concepts.

The symposium will feature four main sessions including Food Biotechnology, Plant and Agriculture Biotechnology, Energy and Environment Biotechnology and Health Biotechnology.
