The event will be held on 20- 31 July 2026
Event Overview
Global food systems are facing increasing pressure due to climate change, population growth, land degradation, resource scarcity, and geopolitical instability. Ensuring food security and building long‑term resilience requires integrated approaches across agriculture, engineering, biotechnology, ecological management, and policy.
Aligned with SDG 2: Zero Hunger, the program designed to expose students to cutting‑edge concepts and practices related to sustainable agriculture, organic and regenerative biomass production, and biosecurity within bioproduct systems. Participants will also be equipped with two key pillars essential for sustainable food systems:
- Regenerative and Organic Biomass Production, focusing on restoring soil health, enhancing biodiversity, and promoting environmentally friendly production systems; and;
- Biosecurity of Bioproduct, emphasizing the safety, quality, and resilience of biological products within the food and agricultural value chain.
Through lectures, discussions, and practical insights, this course provides learners with the knowledge needed to develop innovative, sustainable solutions for current and future food system challenges.
Purpose & Objectives
This Summer Course aims to expand participants’ knowledge of organic and regenerative agriculture and biosecurity, strengthen an international learning atmosphere, and build global networks that enhance collaborative research and publication quality.
