IC-OMICS 2026 REGISTRATION

Dear Researchers, Academics, and Practitioners,

The Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Multi-Omics in Life Sciences (IC-OMICS 2026) warmly welcomes researchers, academics, practitioners, and professionals from relevant fields to submit their abstracts, full papers, and to participate in the conference. Organized by the School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), the conference will be held in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, on 8–9 July 2026.

Abstract Submission

Abstract submission is open for both oral and poster presentations. However, please note that a selection process will be conducted to determine oral presentations, while other accepted submissions may be assigned as poster presentations.

To facilitate the submission and follow-up process, please consider the following guidelines, information, tips, terms, and deadlines. You are invited to submit your abstract to the International Conference on Multi-Omics in Life Sciences (IC-OMICS 2026), which will be held on 8–9 July 2026 in Bandung, Indonesia.

  • Abstracts can only be submitted online.
  • Abstract submission period: 1 February – 15 May 2026.
  • The abstract must be an original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for publication elsewhere.
  • The abstract must be written in English.
  • The abstract should be submitted in PDF/DOCX format, Font Times New Roman 11 pt, text, A4 paper size.
  • The abstract title should not exceed 15 words.
  • Abstracts must include 3–5 keywords. Research abstracts should include the introduction, objectives, methodology, results, and conclusion.
  • Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with their institution and corresponding email.
  • Abstract must not exceed 200 words.
  • Systematic Literature Review and Literature Review is allowed ONLY for poster presentation

What to Do After Abstract Submission

Participant Category: Student

1. Student participants may register as:

    • Oral presenter
    • Poster presenter
    • Non-presenter

2. Students applying for Oral Presentation will undergo a selection process.

    • Oral presentation results will be announced on 17 May 2026.
    • Applicants who are not selected for oral presentation will automatically be assigned as Poster Presenters.

3. All Student Presenters (Oral and Poster) will automatically be considered for the Student Waiver Program:

    • Provides up to 50% registration fee reduction
    • Available only for a limited number of participants
    • Waiver results will be announced on 30 May 2026

4. Please note:

    • The student waiver applies only to student presenters
    • The waiver does not apply to: Non-presenters and additional publication fee
    • Students are strongly encouraged to wait until the waiver announcement on 30 May 2026 before making payment.
    • Participants who complete payment before the waiver announcement will be charged the normal registration fee
    • Payments made before 30 May 2026 will not be eligible for waiver adjustment/refund

3.Poster presenters and non-presenters may proceed directly with payment.

4.Selected authors may also receive an invitation for publication as a book chapter (Scopus-indexed)

    • Additional publication fee applies

Terms and Conditions
  • Conference fees may only be paid after participants receive an official acceptance notification via email.
  • The registration fee covers seminar materials, lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments, and access to all technical sessions, excluding publication fees and accommodation.
  • Each registration fee applies to one participant only. Authors attending in addition to the presenter must register individually, and participants who do not present a paper should register under the non-presenter category.
  • An official receipt will be issued once payment has been successfully verified based on the submitted payment confirmation.
  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Cash payments are not accepted.
  • Any transfer fees or bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the participant.
  • For each accepted paper, at least one author must register as a presenter.
  • Registration fees are determined by the participant’s institutional affiliation, not by the nationality of the first author.

Full Paper Submission

1. Submission

Full paper submission is required for presenters whose abstracts have been selected for publication consideration. All submissions must strictly follow the conference manuscript template, which will be provided by the organizing committee. Manuscripts that do not comply with the prescribed format will not be processed further.

  • Full paper can only be submitted online.
  • Full paper submission period: 1–15 May 2026.
  • The full paper must be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for publication elsewhere.
  • The full paper must be written in English.
  • The full paper should be submitted in DOCX format, Times New Roman 12 pt, single line spacing, A4 paper size.
  • The paper title should not exceed 15 words.
  • Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with their institution and email address.
  • References should follow the APA style as far as possible (e.g., via Mendeley).
2. Initial Administrative Screening

An initial administrative review will be conducted by the Editorial Team to assess manuscript completeness and relevance to the conference theme and scope. Manuscripts that do not meet the administrative requirements or fall outside the conference scope will be returned to the authors without proceeding to the review stage.

3. Plagiarism Screening

All eligible manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using Turnitin and/or iThenticate. The maximum allowable similarity index is 20%, excluding references and properly cited quotations. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected, depending on the extent of similarity.

4. Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the plagiarism screening will undergo a blind peer review conducted by reviewers with relevant expertise in the respective fields. The review process, including revisions by authors, will take place from 16 April to 30 June 2026. Authors are required to address reviewers’ comments within the specified revision period.

5. Publication

Accepted manuscripts that have successfully completed the review and revision process will be included in the conference proceedings and/or selected scientific publications, in accordance with the conference’s publication policies. Selected manuscripts will be published as book chapters. 

A publication fee of IDR 3,500,000 (USD 225) will be applied to each accepted manuscript. Payment must be completed by July 2026 to ensure inclusion in the publication.

Book publishing is in collaboration with UPM Press, indexed by Scopus.
