RINGKASAN
Prof. Tjandra Anggareni, Ph.D.primarily focuses in various entomology fields, from the fundamentals such as insect ecology, physiology, pathology, immune system, to the integrated biological control to the applied fields of medical and forensic entomology, insect immune and physiological responses to biological pesticides, as well as controls of pests and vermin in general. In recent years Prof. Tjandra is aiming to advance researches related to biosecurity, namely in sustainably controlling populations and impacts of insects and preventing diseases they might transfer to humans. Currently, the development of methods and basic data related to forensic entomology using animal models is being intensively carried out.
