Anca Awal Sembada graduated from the Bioengineering and Biotechnology program at the School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan. His research interests include transport phenomena in biosystems, biosystems engineering, and particle and particulate technology.
