Overview
Andira Rahmawati, S.Si., M.Si. is a lecturer and member of the Plant Sciences and Biotechnology expertise group. Her primary interest are in the development of plant somatic embryo, utilisation of plant material and metabolites for human uses as well as the relationships of plant life with beneficial microbial symbionts. One of the notable species focused on by Ms. Andira is the Pasak Bumi (Eurycoma longifolia) which is a well-known plant utilised for traditional medicines.
